Frames

A way of splitting a web page into separate windows. This makes it possible to retain parts of a page (e.g. company logo, navigation bars), keeping them in view while changing other parts (images, content). It allows the making of links to other sites forcing them to display within your page. Not all browsers support frames and many people do not like them. Frames can also reduce the impact of your site on many major search engines.
