Alt Tags
Text that accompanies graphic images, this text can be read while the image is downloading and when the mouse passes over the image. It serves to describe the image to people who do not have graphics enabled. The text is also read by web crawlers as a part of the page content (crawlers cannot âseeâ graphic images).
