SyncML

Synchronization Markup LanguageSyncML is a new industry initiative to develop and promote a single, common data synchronization protocol that can be used industry-wide. Driving the initiative are Ericsson, IBM, Lotus, Motorola, Nokia, Palm Inc., Psion and Starfish Software. SyncML initiative is supported by several hundred leading companies in the industry, and additional companies are welcome to join the open initiative and participate.(Definition adapted from the original specification document)
